1. Meeting was called to order at 7pm by Rebecca Diehl-President
2. All attendees-pledge of allegiance
3. Attendees: Rebecca Diehl, Ted Dorn, Stacy Ling, Jen Seip, John Boring, Dawn Boring, Matt Perkins, Matt Keith, Bob Keith, Jeff Ling, Michael Beard, Mike Colson, Tim Wentz, Greg Yohe, Michelle Wilson-Clark, John Brown, Dawn Wetzel.
4. Treasurer report: Checking: $5,214.24 Saving: $3,621.24
5. Secretary Report: Banquet has been set for December 10th at the FarmShow. We will be having a banquet fundraiser to off set the cost of tickets. Bonfire/Hayride Rally has been set for 2 October. Fundraiser and Picture packages will be distributed on Parent Night 5 August. Player/Cheer pictures have been rescheduled for Tuesday August 24.
6. Cheer update: Cheer camp has been set for 27-29 July 2010 6-8 pm. For more information please contact Dawn Boring at DEDENJOHN@COMCAST.NET or 697-4694. Currently cheer has 47 girls registered. August 9th Cheer will be at the trailer for anyone who would like to donate gently used items and for the girls. 10 August Flying Feet will be at the field to sell shoes, bonnies and socks. 12 August will be cheer uniform handout.
7. Coach update: All coaches have enough staff members for the season, they are working on getting everything ready for the season. Most coaches have prepared play books for their teams. Midget Coach will be having a parent meeting after the first practice on 2 August. Please see schedule for squad equipment handout-remember you need your physical to be able to receive equipment. If you are interested in being a team mom, please contact the head coach. If you happen to hand out equipment for a player other than your squad please inform the other head coach so they may keep track.
8. Health and Welfare Report: Coach Bob is doing well, out of the hospital.
9. CFA update: Meeting with Referees: They will only be speaking with the head coaches. Fees have increased to $40.00 per home game. Must have chain help in place prior to the game, they will not wait and will issue penalties. Referees do not want practice time between games, games are to start immediatly. There will be no referee for smurf or peewee jv games. They will require parking space in the front of the field. Referees will not tolerate bad behavior. There will be a field manager for each game-most likely Rebecca or Ted.
10. New Business:
Registration stats: Currently have 90 players and 47 cheer. Pony equipment was handed out on 15 July, if you have missed this date please contact the head coach to arrange equipment pick up.
Coaches need to make sure they have enough ice packs for practices and games, along with stocked first aid kits. If you need something please see board member.
Night game against St. Joe has been approved.
We are hoping to host a playoff game at the stadium, request has been submitted.
Free Mini Football Camps are will be held July 27, 28, and 29. We will be having a sub and ice cream sale during the camp
Scrimmage has been set for 12 August against East Penn at our practice field.
Last registration is July 25 at Football trailer-(next to Allen Middle School).
Future Colt night has been set for September 4, 2010 @ 7pm-stayed tuned for more information.
